Our client, a leader in the manufacturing and distribution of a growing market sector is seeking a REGIONAL SALES MANAGER. The role requires an individual that is determined, independent with a sense of initiative, decisiveness, and urgency. The position will have total responsibility for sales, marketing and customer service functions for a multi-state region for a leading Midwest manufacturing company. The position reports directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing of the company. This individual will collaborate with leadership to drive sales growth along multiple lines. The right individual will bring strategic selling perspectives as well as a proven ability to drive effective tactical selling, customer service, and marketing activities through others.

• Securing new business & increasing sales to existing customers

• Finding new niche markets and new distributors, conducting promotions, conducting distributor training sessions and sales meetings to ensure that distributors are adequately prepared to market and sell the Company’s products.

• Quoting prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.

• Submitting weekly and monthly reports such as activity reports, sales call reports, expense reports, and other documentation of sales performance within the region.

• Working with inside sales representatives and customer service representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date.

• Attending trade shows; Organizes and implements the Company’s participation in regional and private shows, and participates as the Company’s representative in National Trade Shows and other events.
